100 year celebration event

Hudgins Horn Harbor Marina
for Oyster Buyboats that are 100 years old
The Chesapeake Bay Buyboat Association (CBBA) is made up of the Northern and Southern Fleets. The Northern Fleet and the Southern Fleet under the command of Captain John England. The Fleet currently covers New Jersey to Florida.
Captain John England is the master of the F. D. Crockett and keeps her berthed in Deltaville, Virginia at the Maritine Museum can be reached at [jdengland@verizon.net].
2025 Chesapeake Bay Buyboat Celebration for those Oyster Buyboats turning 100 years of age will be held at Hudgins Horn Harbor Marina on Saturday, September 20st, 2025. This Celebration will be held in conjunction with the Poquoson Workboat Races on Sunday, September 14th 2025 followed by a mini cruise starting Monday, September 15th, 2025 and return to Horn Harbor Marina on Thursday September 18th, 2025 for the 100 year celebration on Saturday 21st, 2025
